Preparation:
1. Heat the oven to 350F/177C/Gas 4. Grease and line with parchment paper a round baking pan and set aside.
2. Whisk butter, Tulia Mighty Date Supersnack (or the flavor of your choice), applesauce, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
3. In another bowl combine cardamom, flax seeds, cornstarch, baking soda, flour, and baking powder. Combine the two mixtures and whisk until smooth. Fold in the raisins.
4. Spoon the cake batter into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and sprinkle with pistachios.
5. Bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
7. The cake will keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
