Green Beans and Sour Plums Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 celery rib, finely diced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1lb/450g frozen green beans
  • 1/2 cup sour green plums, pitted and chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Tulia Mighty Date Supersnack
  • 3/4 cup vegetable broth (as needed)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Topping
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter or olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 cup plant milk
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
