Orange and Date Salad

This light, fresh, and colorful salad has a zesty kick and is packed with goodness. It is great for breakfast, light lunch, or served as part of a buffet. The Tulia Apple Cinnamon Supersnack dressing couldn’t be tastier and works perfectly with the oranges, watercress, and arugula.

  • 4 medium oranges, cut into segments
  • 1-2 tablespoons orange blossom water (optional)
  • 3 cups arugula or mixed baby greens
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 bunch watercress, trimmed and shredded
  • 2-3 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Tulia Apple Cinnamon Supersnack
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup toasted slivered almonds
  • A handful of blackberries (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon Tabil spice blend (or another spice blend such as Baharat or Ras el hanout)
  • Fresh mint leaves
